The percussion group, duo Anime began at Cleveland State University when Andrew Pongracz and Mell Csicsila were students. Their performances feature contemporary works mixed with transcriptions of more traditional classical repertoire and audience favorites. Since their early roots, Pongracz and Csicsila have worked with such musicians as Aretha Franklin, Yes, Kansas, Gary Puckett, Dennis DeYoung, and Charo.
