December 16, 2017 / 2:30pm

Free with Museum Admission

Artists on Art leverages the expertise of artists working right here in our region through monthly, in-gallery talks about one or more artworks on view in MOCA’s exhibitions. Paul O’Keeffe will discuss Heritage Studies (2013, 2017) by Iman Issa, currently on view in A Poethical Wager. O'Keeffe creates evocative, abstract mixed media sculptures that often include metal and plastic. The titles and forms in his works bear allusions to human experiences and artifacts. A professor emeritus at Kent State University, he is the recipient of a 2017 Guggenheim Fellowship and a 2017 Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Excellence Award. More information on his work can be found at paulokeeffestudio.com.
