7 - 8pm | CURATORIAL CONVERSATION
Brett Littman with Jill Snyder
MOCA's fall exhibition Ferran Adrià: Notes on Creativity has its origins in a memorable meal Brett Littman, excecutive director of The Drawing Center, NY, had at Adrià's famed restaurant elBulli in 2010. "It was the most exciting and profound dining experience I had ever had," he says. Adrià’s ability to upend diners’ expectations was “what made it art." Join us on opening night to gain fascinating insights into Ferran Adrià: Notes on Creativity from Exhibition Curator Brett Littman in conversation with MOCA Executive Director Jill Snyder.

7 - 9pm | FAMILY ART STUDIO
Tinker with unlikely art materials during the Family Art Studio. Experiment with art making techniques like drawing and hand building, inspired by the exhibitions. Adults and kids are encouraged to work together to create unexpected artwork to take home.

8 - 10pm | Signature Cocktail | DjEd.E
Cash bar featuring MOCA's all-new signature cocktail, chosen from a competition featuring top local mixologists. Help us name this beguiling concoction, inspired by Ferran Adrià: Notes on Creativity. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes as DjEd.E fills MOCA's Gund Commons with danceable delights.
