SLOW Art Day

April 12, 2014 / 2:00pm

FREE for MOCA Members; Free with Museum admission

**Participants may bring a packed lunch or order one from MOCA**

2pm: Art viewing
3–4:30pm: Lunch and discussion

Focus on art and the art of seeing. Around the world in hundreds of museums and galleries, art lovers will slow down to look at only five works of art, chosen by each museum. Adult participants are asked to spend at least 10 minutes with each artwork and then share their experiences in conversation with others over lunch. MOCA will be one of four sites in Ohio participating in this volunteer effort to discover how seeing art doesn’t require an art expert.
Registration is recommended but participation is free with museum admission. Guests are welcome to bring a bagged lunch or order one from MOCA.
