SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Creative Capital Grants
October 10, 2013 / 7:00pm
Free and open to all
Artists, don’t miss this opportunity to learn about Creative Capital Foundation’s upcoming grant cycle and how you can apply for this exceptional award. Creative Capital supports artists creating adventurous and imaginative work in the performing and visual arts, film/video, innovative literature, and emerging fields. Far from a traditional funder, Creative Capital is committed to working in long-term partnership with the bold and groundbreaking artists that they fund by making a multi-year financial commitment while providing advisory and professional development services. Creative Capital has a special interest in projects that transcend discipline boundaries and reveal something new about the moment in which we live.
Julia Christensen, an artist featured in Realization is Better than Anticipation, recently earned a Creative Capital grant. In 2014, Creative Capital will be considering proposals in the FILM/VIDEO and VISUAL ARTS. At this presentation, Lisa Dent, Director of Grants & Services at Creative Capital, will discuss these grant areas and answer questions relating to application.
The session is free and open to the public, but we appreciate your RSVP at http://www.creative-capital.org/support/infosessions or firstname.lastname@example.org
